What is Teen Patti?
Teen Patti, also known as 3 Patti or Indian Poker, is a popular card game originating from India. The name "Teen Patti" literally means "Three Cards" in Hindi. It's played with a standard 52-card deck without jokers.
Basic Rules
- Players: 3-6 players can play at a table
- Cards: Each player gets 3 cards face down
- Betting: Players bet based on their hand strength
- Showdown: The player with the highest-ranking hand wins
Hand Rankings (Highest to Lowest)
- Trail/Set/Trio: Three cards of the same rank (A-A-A is highest)
- Pure Sequence: Three consecutive cards of the same suit
- Sequence: Three consecutive cards (not same suit)
- Color/Flush: Three cards of the same suit (not in sequence)
- Pair: Two cards of the same rank
- High Card: When no other hand is formed
Blind vs Seen
- Blind: Play without looking at your cards
- Seen: Look at your cards before betting
